  • New Mexico Information Technology Commission: Chairman, appointed by Gov. Bill Richardson, 2004 through present. 
     
  • New Mexico Internet Professionals Association: Served as chairman of the board for two, two-year terms, 2000 through 2004. 
     
  • High Tech Consortium of Southern New Mexico: Board member, 2004 through present; chair, legislative committee. 
     
  • American ISP Association: Formerly provided regional-area staffing assistance to AISPA. 
     
  • Connect New Mexico: former member of the board of this public-private partnership seeking high-speed telecom connectivity throughout the state.
     
  • Rural Payday: former vice president and  board member of this rural economic development telecom organization launched by U.S. Senator Pete Domenici. 
     
  • New Mexico First: founding member and original contract consultant  (in 1986) for this non-partisan statewide issues forum. 
     
  • Economic Forum: member of this limited-membership organization of CEOs and business owners of companies operating in Albuquerque, 2002-present.
